NexSys® Core ATEX BatteriesDesigned for material handling vehicles that operate in hazardous areas, ATEX-approved NexSys® CORE batteries are engineered with Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology and provide a safe, high-performance alternative to traditional lead-acid, flooded or gel batteries in low- and medium-duty applications.

Thanks to TPPL technology, NexSys® ATEX batteries allow operators to maximize operational flexibility and minimize battery maintenance, even in hazardous areas. Unlike standard lead acid batteries, NexSys ATEX batteries have no watering requirements and can reduce or eliminate the need for battery changes. They can also be opportunity-charged during short breaks and conform with the relevant provision of directive 94/9/EC of 23 March 1994.
- Shorter recharge time than Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) gel and flooded lead acid batteries
- Charging flexibility and convenience: trucks can complete an entire shift with no need to be taken out of service for a battery change or recharge
