EnerSys Presents Annual Donation to United Way Berks County

EnerSys, the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications is proud to announce that it has raised $460,579 for United Way of Berks County for 2021.

The ceremonial check was presented to United Way of Berks at EnerSys Berks County Headquarters on December 14th by EnerSys President and Chief Executive Officer, David M. Shaffer and Lisa Hodgen, EnerSys Vice President and Deputy General Counsel who spearheaded this years’ United Way fundraising campaign for EnerSys.

The funds donated to the United Way of Berks County are distributed to non-profit organizations throughout the region. The United Way then invests in organizations like Olivet Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters to support youth development, mentoring and after-school programs. Other program investments help our community’s most vulnerable residents through agency partners such as New Journey Community Outreach, The Salvation Army and Safe Berks.
