SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
The FLEXware® ICS Plus combiner box complies with new NEC 2014 requirements for PV installations—including arc fault protection, PV rapid shutdown and DC load-break disconnecting means. It is also the first-end-to-end solution listed to UL 1741 with photovoltaic rapid shutdown systems (PVRSS) for both battery-based and grid-direct systems. As with the ICS, it comes pre-integrated to save labor time and costs, and also comes pre-packaged to streamline ordering.
The FLEXware ICS offers value, simplicity, and ease of installation in a single solution. The pre-integrated design saves labor time in the field and cuts down on installation costs. With the new combiner solution, OutBack Power™ achieves another first: a single-brand solution that is UL 1741 listed from roof to battery. This makes us truly “one stop shopping” for any system installer or designer looking for a safe, fully-compliant solution.
OutBack Power's FLEXware PV Combiner Series sets the new standard for PV balance of system hardware. Ideal for both small or large systems, the FLEXware PV8 and FLEXware PV12 accommodates the overcurrent protection requirements of your application. From 150VDC breakers for low voltage PV systems, to 600VDC fuse holders for high voltage PV systems, the FLEXware PV Combiner Series handles it all.
