PowerSafe® DDr batteries offer an ideal solution for railroad signal and communication applications. Featuring lead-calcium alloy chemistry in a Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) recombinant design, PowerSafe DDr batteries maximize performance, reduce maintenance and simplify installation.

Engineered for long life and low maintenance Built to the most stringent quality standards, PowerSafe DDr batteries combine several integrated performance features. Thanks to VRLA technology, the batteries never require watering. Large copper posts enhance their high performance rate and thicker positive plates help ensure longer life. Cells are encased in protective steel cans (modules) that maintain constant, uniform compression for the life of the battery, while built-in handles make installation safe, fast and easy in even in the most challenging situations.
