One of the challenges operators face is securing power for each of the small cell sites in a cost effective and timely fashion. In addition, MNOs will deploy 5G small cells in a range of urban locations, on the sides of buildings, on bus shelters, strand mount, fixed to streetlights, utility poles, or other street furniture. In-Building Distributed Powering Solutions

In buildings and campuses, powering remote devices is transitioning away from an AC outlet and economy UPS and moving toward powering end devices remotely using conventional copper cables.
