DC Power Systems

Alpha® DC power systems are ideal for powering a remote network access system like a DSLAM or fixed wireless access node. These DC plants are also the source of power for our Remote Line Power (RLP) systems. A low profile 48VDC system based on 1.2kW Cordex® rectifiers supply up to 100A of current. For larger applications, the rack-mount CXPS-E3 system can supply up to 400A.

High-efficiency Cordex rectifiers and our CXC HP controller platform are essential building blocks for EnerSys® DC power solutions. When 48V plants are combined with RLP systems, the controller enables remote power on/power off for remote nodes, lowering the operational expenses by minimizing trurck rolls.
