At the foot of Poland’s Beskidy mountains, is the EnerSys Bielsko-Biała factory. One of Europe’s largest traction battery plants, it produces over 2.2 million 2V cells and is the only producer of 60,000 modular chargers per year for the EMEA, Asian and Australian markets.

Making a huge impact in the community, Bielsko-Biała is one of the most environmentally efficient factories of its kind, with an innovative waste water treatment plant preventing lead from leaving the plant and an education campaign teaching family how to recycle and store batteries safely.
