Located in the beautiful hills of Kentucky in the U.S.A., the Richmond Site has manufactured lead-acid batteries and other Motive Power components since 1977. The site was acquired by EnerSys in 2000 which has allowed it to expand both the volume and products they provide.
In addition to lead-acid Motive Power Batteries, the site is also home to Modular Chargers, TPPL Motive Power Batteries, a Regional Distribution Center as well as the National Parts Center. Their location in Richmond, KY places the site within a 2-day logistics window of 75% of all Motive Power Customers in the America’s.
