ODYSSEY® Performance Batteries

Designed to handle the increased use of onboard accessories in today's vehicles, ODYSSEY® Performance batteries provide all the reliability of ODYSSEY Extreme batteries, without the high Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) or reserve capacity many applications may not require.

More overall power and longer service life than conventional batteries

Built with advanced Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology, ODYSSEY Performance batteries feature 99% pure lead plates that are extremely thin, so more of them fit in the battery. More plates means more power – twice as much as conventional batteries, plus three times the service life. Thanks to sealed, Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) design, ODYSSEY Performance batteries are virtually maintenance-free and never require watering.

  • Massive starting power: engine cranking pulses up to 2700 amps for five seconds
  • Extreme temperature tolerance: -40°F (-40ºC) to 140°F (60°C) for non-metal jacket models; -40°F (-40°C) to 176°F (80°C) for metal jacket models
  • Longer life: 8-12-year design life; 3-10-year service life
  • Vibration resistant: protection against high-impact shock and vibration
