Remote Powering

In buildings and campuses, powering remote devices is transitioning away from an AC outlet and economy UPS and moving toward powering end devices remotely using conventional copper cables. For indoor applications, the Alpha® eLimiter+ transforms a single connection to the electrical grid to power for up to 36 remote devices. For outdoor circuits, the LPS36 family enables placement of equipment far from the central source.

The eLimiter+ meets the safety requirements for NEC® Class 2 circuits, lowering TCO and eliminating the need for licensed electricians. All Alpha remote power systems include a feature to remotely power the end device on and off, significantly reducing the number of technician visits to the remote devices.
