Devon's Story

How long did you serve? 

I served for six years. 

What did you do (in the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, Guard, or Reserves)?

I was a nuclear reactor operator.

Why did you choose the branch you chose? 

It was literally the first recruitment office I walked into, but I suppose the reason I walked into that one first was because it seemed the most likely branch to get to see the world.

How did your time in the service influence your current career goals?  

I don’t think it changed my career goals, but it helped immensely in achieving them.

How does EnerSys help you achieve those goals? 

EnerSys provides me with stable employment under a good management team. I feel valued. I get to work on a variety of things. For me, those are the career goals.
