Hawker® Water Free Batteries

The Hawker^® water free battery range combines the virtually maintenance-free features of a valve regulated battery, which requires no water, with the robust design of a traction cell engineered with positive and negative plates in low antimony lead alloy. Hawker water free batteries also deliver excellent high-rate and low-temperature discharge performance, thereby extending run times, even in cold storage environments.

Low-maintenance power

Hawker water free batteries feature a self-regulating pressure relief valve that automatically releases gas as pressure builds within the cell. Their low-resistance microporous glass fiber separators and special terminal design prevent acid leakage, while bolt-on connectors allow cells to be replaced or moved without excessive work. To help ensure optimum life, the batteries can be fitted with the Wi-iQ^® battery monitoring device and our Low Voltage Alarm (LVA).
