Mike Walsh

Mike Walsh serves as Chief of Staff to the President and Chief Executive Officer of EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions. In this role, he partners closely with CEO Shawn O'Connell to advance the company's strategic priorities, drive enterprise alignment, support transformation initiatives, and enhance the operational effectiveness of the Executive Office. He provides strategic counsel, oversees critical cross-functional initiatives, and helps ensure focus, accountability, and execution across the organization.

Since joining EnerSys in 2014, Mike has held several leadership positions of increasing responsibility across the company's global operations. Most recently, he served as Operations Director for EnerSys Advanced Systems EMEA and APAC, where he led operational and strategic initiatives across multiple international markets. Earlier in his career with EnerSys, he served as Business and Plant Manager for ABSL Space Products. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully led complex transformation efforts, improved business performance, and strengthened collaboration across regions and functions.

Mike brings extensive experience in operational leadership, financial strategy, organizational effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, and has completed executive leadership programs at Oxford Saïd Business School. He was also selected as one of 20 participants in the EnerSys Global Leadership Development Program.
